Lifelong Learner and Doctoral Student
- My name is Nellie Deutsch . I am currently writing my doctoral dissertation after completing a 3 year program in educational leadership, specializing in curriculum and instruction at the University of Phoenix online (scheduled to finish in 2009). I am researching blended learning and instructor use of web 2.0 tools for instruction and learning in higher education.

- I studied for my MA and am currently pursuing my doctoral studies online at the University of Phoenix. I have been inspired by my positive online learning experiences to help make online learning free and available worldwide to those who cannot afford to pay the high tuition.

- I am a Canadian (Toronto) residing in Israel. I have been teaching English as a foreign language to high school and adult learners for over 30 years. I am interested in collaborating with other teachers worldwide and do this on Building Relationship.
- I use technology with my face-to-face classes by blending computer programs and the Internet.
- I teach English via computer related topics such a MS and other applications and computer hardware.

- In my free time, I help educators become aware of the value of integrating web 2.0 tools for instruction and learning on a Moodle website called Integrating Technology: Exploring New Domains. I am doing this on a voluntary basis because I am passionate about learning and would like to see e-learning available and free worldwide. I believe collaboration is the key to improving education and ultimately contributing to world peace.

- I am the editor of Etni Rag, an online journal on a voluntary basis (writers invited) and involved in social networking: Doctoral Students, English United Teachers of Israel, and e-learning in developing and developed countries. In addition, I created the following ning social blogs:International Collaboration, Blended Learning and Instruction, Online Instruction, and a few wikis on wikispaces, pbwikis, and wetpaint.
